When the NFL did a Toy Story broadcast of one of the London games, it was clear we’d see more of these in the future. Tonight, for Bengals vs Cowboys on Monday Night Football, they will be doing a Simpsons cast. Hopefully, it provides some levity for these fan bases who are both watching disastrous seasons for their respective teams. The Bengals don’t play defense, and the Cowboys are starting a backup quarterback. But hey, a least we get to see Homer eat a bunch of donuts and stuff.

Cincinnati Bengals (-4.5) @ Dallas Cowboys, O/U 49.5
Like I said before, the Bengals haven’t played a lick of defense this entire season. The only teams they were able to beat in their four-win season were the Panthers, Giants, Browns, and Raiders. All of those teams are projected to pick in the top eight of the draft for next season. The Cowboys are currently projected to pick 12th so they’re no world beaters. However, they are getting a lot of pieces back on what was supposed to be a strong defensive unit. Cooper Rush just needs to play like a league-average quarterback to give his team a chance in this game, and he can do that with Ceedee Lamb and Rico Dowdle.
The way these teams operate though, I would predict some volatile outcomes. Giving the Bengals nearly a touchdown-favorite rating over the Cowboys on the road is a wild power rating for a four-win team. Yes, the offense is elite, but football is a team sport. I think the Cowboys win outright.
Pick: Cowboys Moneyline
So The Bengals Are Going to Score…
The Bengals move the ball on every team they play. They’ve been doing it mostly with the elite wide receiver combination of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. But, the Cowboys are mostly susceptible to the run game. Chase Brown has taken over as the leadback now that Zack Moss is on IR for the rest of the season. But if the the Bengals fall behind in this game because of their lack of defense, I’m worried they get away from the running attack.
Chase Brown is a prolific pass catcher for the Bengals on top of running the ball. I think he’ll be on the field a lot and if the Cowboys bring pressure and could catch a lot of dump-offs from Joe Burrow.
Pick: Chase Brown Over 27.5 Receiving Yards
