Hi guys, Brochacho Vargas is still digesting T-Day food — and plans on more today. So, we are again going with the best teams Against the Spread for this season. It worked pretty well two weeks ago, let’s do it again! C’mon!
The following schools have covered 75 percent of the time or better this season, and who they are playing this long weekend:
Arizona State (9-2-0 ATS, 81.8%) at Arizona, 12:30 p.m. PT Saturday
The Sun Devils are in a 4-way tie for first in the Big 12, and a win in the Territorial Cup gives them a great chance to compete in the conference championship game. ASU defeated ranked teams Kansas State and BYU the past two weeks, although the Sun Devils let large leads whittle down dangerously both times.
Marshall (9-2-0, 81.8%) at James Madison, 5 p.m. PT Saturday
Both teams are 8-3 heading into their final regular season game. QB Braylon Braxton leads the Thundering Herd with 1,311 yards passing, 16 TD passes and two interceptions. The Herd will clinch a spot in the Sun Belt championship game with a win.
Notre Dame (8-2-1, 80%) at USC, 12:30 p.m. PT Saturday
The Fighting Irish have won nine straight games since flopping against Northern Illinois in their second game, and the wins have not been close. ND has also held everyone (except Louisville) to 14 or fewer points.
However, the Trojans are 4-1 at home this season.
UTSA at Army (7-2-1, 77.8%), 9 a.m. Saturday
The Black Knights can get to 10 victories for the third time under coach Jeff Monken and can finish undefeated in American Athletic Conference play. UTSA is 0-5 on the road, as opposed to being 6-0 at home in the Alamodome.
